RANCHI, India, March 4 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on Jan. 3:

1. The present writ petition has been filed for the following relief :-

"(a) for issuance of appropriate writ/ writs in the form of mandamus commanding upon the Respondent No.5, directing him to extend the compensation amount of Rs.60,55,972.50/- pursuant to award dated 24.12.24 passed in Land Acquisition Case No.1/ 23-24 in favour of the petitioner."

2. It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that during the pendency of the present writ petition, the matter has been referred under Section 3H(4) of the National Highway Act, 1956, for adjudication.

3. In that view of the matter, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present writ petition with a liberty to pursue his remedy before the referral court.

4. Learned counsel for the State has raised no objection.

5. With the aforesaid liberty, the present writ petition is, hereby, disposed of.

6. Pending interlocutory application, if any, stands disposed of.
