RANCHI, India, Nov. 19 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on Oct. 29:
1. Heard the parties.
2. Petitioner has been made accused in connection with N.D.P.S. Case No. 12 of 2025 arising out of Godda (M) Motiya O.P. P.S. Case No. 146 of 2025 for the offences registered under Sections 22, 25, 27(a) and 29 of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the Court of learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Godda.
3. It was submitted that 2.42 grams of brown sugar were recovered from joint possession of the petitioner and co-accused persons. It was further submitted that the quantum of seized brown sugar comes within the purview of small quantity.
4. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Godda, in connection with N.D.P.S. Case No. 12 of 2025 arising out of Godda (M) Motiya O.P. P.S. Case No. 146 of 2025.
