RANCHI, India, March 27 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on Feb. 24:
1. Heard Mr. Shailesh Kumar Singh, learned counsel for the appellant and learned Spl.P.P.
2. This appeal is directed against the order dated 21.01.2026 passed in M.C.A. No.151 of 2026, arising out of Mahuda P.S. Case No. 69 of 2025, by the learned Addl. Sessions Judge-VI, Dhanbad, whereby and whereunder the prayer for bail of the appellant has been rejected.
3. Submission has been advanced by the learned counsel for the appellant that the appellant was merely a worker in the gun factory which was being run in the premises of Murshid Ansari. It has further been submitted that the appellant is in custody since 29.05.2025. In a similar circumstance, one of the co-accused namely Md. Mustafa @ Mussu has been granted bail by this Court in Cr. A. (DB) No. 07 of 2026.
4. Learned Spl.P.P. though has opposed the prayer for bail of the appellant but has not disputed the aforesaid contentions advanced by learned counsel for the appellant.
5. Regard being had to the above, we while setting aside the order dated 21.01.2026 passed in M.C.A. No.151 of 2026, arising out of Mahuda P.S. Case No. 69 of 2025, by the learned Addl. Sessions JudgeVI, Dhanbad, direct the appellant to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned District and Addl. Judge-VI, Dhanbad.
6. Accordingly, this appeal stands allowed and disposed of.
