RANCHI, India, Nov. 30 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on Oct. 30:
1. Heard the parties.
2. Petitioner has been made accused in connection with S.T. No. 111 of 2025 arising out of Panki P.S. Case No. 158 of 2017 corresponding to G.R. No. 2616 of 2017 for the offences registered under Sections 25(1- A), 25(1-B)a, 26, 35 of the Arms Act and Section 17 of the C.L.A. Act, pending in the Court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-II, Palamau.
3. On 23.11.2017, Panki Police on the basis of confidential information apprehended several accused persons from a place near Lukhitanr Hill. On search, firearms were recovered from their possession.
4. It was submitted that the petitioner was neither apprehended at the spot nor any incriminating article was recovered from his possession.
5. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-II, Palamau, in connection with S.T. No. 111 of 2025 arising out of Panki P.S. Case No. 158 of 2017 corresponding to G.R. No. 2616 of 2017.
