RANCHI, India, May 7 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on April 6:

1.Heard, learned counsel for the parties.

2. It is the grievance of the petitioner that the land of the petitioner has been acquired by National Highway Authority for construction of the National Highway, wherein the award has already been prepared, but not in the name of this petitioner.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner is also entitled for the share of the compensation and the respondents have wrongly not prepared, the award in the name of this petitioner.

4. It is the case of the petitioner that he has already filed an application before the appropriate authority under the National Highway Act though the matter is still pending.

5. Considering the submission of the petitioner, I direct the concerned authority to pass an appropriate order on the application of the petitioner or if necessary, refer the matter for arbitration in terms of the provision of the act.

6. With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition is disposed of
