RANCHI, India, Jan. 3 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on Dec. 2:
Heard Mr. Gaurav, learned counsel appearing for the appellant and learned A.P.P. for the State.
This appeal is directed against the order dated 11.11.2025 passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge-III, Latehar in B.P. No. 510 of 2025, arising out of Chandwa P.S. Case No. 20 of 2020, whereby and whereunder, the prayer for bail of the appellant has been rejected.
It has been alleged that on a raid conducted by the Police one Jagdhari Ganjhu @ Jalendhar was apprehended with arms and ammunitions and the other associates of the apprehended accused person managed to flee away.
Submission has been advanced by the learned counsel for the appellant that the appellant has been implicated on the confessional statement of the apprehended accused. It has been submitted that the appellant is in custody since 17.06.2025 and several coaccused persons similarly situated have been granted bail by a coordinate Bench of this Court.
Learned A.P.P. though has opposed the prayer for bail of the appellant but has not disputed the aforesaid fact.
In view of the manner of implication of the appellant, we while setting aside the order dated 11.11.2025 passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge-III, Latehar in B.P. No. 510 of 2025, arising out of Chandwa P.S. Case No. 20 of 2020, direct that the appellant be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M., Latehar in connection with Chandwa P.S. Case No. 20 of 2020.
This appeal stands allowed.
