RANCHI, India, June 16 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on May 14:

1. Heard learned counsels for petitioners and for State.

2. The petitioners are apprehending their arrest in connection with Chouparan PS Case No.370 of 2021, for offence registered under section 341, 323, 325, 307, 354, 504 and section 34 IPC, pending in court of learned JMFC, Hazaribagh.

3. Learned counsel for petitioners submits that there is case and counter case between the parties and in the case lodged by the petitioners the charge sheet has already been submitted against the husband of the informant of the present case. He next submits that the petitioners are cooperating in the investigation and they will go on cooperating in the investigation.

4. Learned State counsel opposes prayer and submits that allegation is there of outraging the modesty of the informant.

5. Considering that petitioners are the son, father and mother respectively and all have been made accused and there is case and counter case between the parties, I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

6. Accordingly, the petitioners, above named, are hereby directed to surrender before learned court within two weeks from today, and in event of their surrender/arrest, the petitioners, above named, shall be released on bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) each, with two sureties of like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned JMFC, Hazaribagh, in connection with Chouparan PS Case No.370 of 2021, subject to the conditions as laid down under section 482(2) of Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023.
