RANCHI, India, April 3 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on Feb. 27:
It is submitted by the learned counsel on behalf of the opposite parities that order under contempt has been complied with and the delay was not intentional rather it was because of some confusion and communication gap between the counsel and the opposite parties.
A prayer has been made to recall the order directing the opposite party no.3 to pay cost of Rs.10,000/- in the event of delay in compliance with the order passed by this Court.
It is submitted by the learned counsel on behalf of petitioner that there was specific direction for compliance with the order passed by this Court on 16.06.2025 in W.P. (C) No.684 of 2025. Despite specific direction, the order was not complied and consequently, cost was imposed on 05.12.2025.
Considering the grounds taken and since order has been complied with, therefore order of contempt to pay cost of Rs.10,000/- is recalled and the contempt proceeding is dropped.
