RANCHI, India, Sept. 30 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on Aug. 29:
The claimants are the appellants who have preferred this misc. appeal for enhancement of compensation amount awarded in Motor Accident Claim Case No. 278 of 2013, whereby and whereunder, the compensation of Rs.3,48,880/- was awarded under Section 166 of M.V. Act.
The matter was earlier referred to Jharkhand High Court Legal Services Committee for mediation vide order dated 17.07.2025 and as per the mediation report dated 22.08.2025, the mediation was successful and the matter has been amicably settled in terms of the mediation report dated 20.08.2025.
In view of the settlement, arrived at between the parties, this misc. appeal stands disposed of in terms of the mediation report dated 20.08.2025, which will form part of the award to be prepared by the office.
Pending I.A., if any, also stands disposed of.
