RANCHI, India, Nov. 19 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on Oct. 29:
1. Heard the parties.
2. Petitioner has been made accused in connection with Khunti P.S. Case No. 120 of 2025 for the offences registered under Sections 25(1-b)a, 26, 35 of the Arms Act, pending in the Court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Khunti.
3. On 02.06.2025, Khunti Police apprehended the petitioner from a place near Pipra Toli of Village-Murhi. It appears that the petitioner had given a pistol to the co-accused Pikku Kumar @ Pikku Kumar Soni and on his pointing out, one country-made pistol was recovered from possession of co-accused.
4. It was submitted that the petitioner is in custody for about four months. It was further submitted that charge-sheet has been submitted in this case.
5. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Khunti, in connection with Khunti P.S. Case No. 120 of 2025.
