RANCHI, India, Oct. 23 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on Sept. 23:

Heard Mr. Raja Ravi Shekhar Singh, the learned counsel for the appellant and Mr. Abhay Kr. Tiwari, the learned A.P.P.

This appeal is directed against the order dated 19.08.2025 passed in B.P. No. 1102/25 arising out of AHTU PS Case No. 06/2025 by the learned AJC XV, Ranchi, whereby and whereunder, the prayer for bail of the appellant has been rejected.

It has been alleged that from Ranchi Railway Station nine females were apprehended and on interrogation, they have taken the name of one Shruti Kumari as well as the present appellant of taking them away to Tamil Nadu for the purposes of some work.

Submission has been advanced by the learned counsel for the appellant that all the victims who were recovered are majors and in fact, the main allegation seems to have been levelled against Shruti Kumari. The learned counsel adds that the appellant is in custody since 12.07.2025.

Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the appellant.

On consideration of the aforesaid facts, we while setting aside the order dated 19.08.2025 passed in B.P. No. 1102/25 arising out of AHTU PS Case No. 06/2025 by the learned AJC XV, Ranchi direct the appellant be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M, Ranchi in connection with AHTU PS Case No. 06/2025.

This appeal is allowed.
