RANCHI, India, Jan. 7 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on Dec. 8:

1. The present writ petition has been filed for the following reliefs:-

"i. For issuance of appropriate writ(s), order(s), direction(s), particularly a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing of the order dated 01.08.2025 passed in Mutation Case No. 208 R27 / 2025-26 (Annexure-4), by the Circle Officer, Bishrampur, whereby and whereunder the mutation of the petitioner has been rejected without assigning any reason and in pursuance of the opinion of the Revenue Clerk, wherein the Revenue Clerk has given opinion that the mutation has been applied on the basis of Will and the order of Civil Court in connection with Original Suit No. 85 of 2023 has been obtained on the basis of the Will.

ii. For issuance of an appropriate writ(s), order(s), direction(s) particularly a writ in the nature of mandamus, commanding upon the respondents particularly to the respondent no.4 (Circle Officer, Bishrampur Block) to mutate the name of the petitioner in Register-II pertaining to Plot No. 556 of village and P.S. Bishrampur under Khata No.2, measuring an area of 15 decimals."

2. Since, there is alternative remedy of revision, hence, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present writ petition with a liberty to approach the revisional authority

3. Learned counsel for the other side has raised no objection.

4. Permission is accorded.

5. Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed of as withdrawn with the aforesaid liberty.
