RANCHI, India, Oct. 23 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on Sept. 23:
Heard Mr. Pratiush Lala, the learned counsel for the appellant and Mr. Pankaj Kumar, the learned P.P.
This appeal is directed against the order dated 29.07.2025 passed by the learned Special Judge, Children Court, Dhanbad in Criminal Appeal No. 133 of 2025, arising out of Madhuban PS Case No. 10/2025, whereby and whereunder, the prayer for bail of the appellant has been rejected.
It has been alleged that on the disclosure made by the appellant one sutli bomb and a country made pistol were recovered.
Submission has been advanced by the learned counsel for the appellant that the appellant is in custody since 15.01.2025 and on 18.02.2025 he was declared a juvenile.
Learned P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the appellant.
On consideration of the period of custody undergone by the appellant and the fact that he was declared a juvenile, we while setting aside the order dated 29.07.2025 passed by the learned Special Judge, Children Court, Dhanbad in Criminal Appeal No. 133 of 2025, arising out of Madhuban PS Case No. 10/2025 direct the appellant be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Principal Magistrate, Juvenile Justice Board, Dhanbad in connection with Madhuban PS Case No. 10/2025.
This appeal is allowed.
