RANCHI, India, June 12 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on May 11:

Heard Mr. Vikash Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.

This application is directed against the judgement dated 11.12.2025 passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge-I-cum-Special Judge, Children Court, Jamshedpur in Criminal Appeal No. 279 of 2025, whereby and whereunder, the order dated 09.10.2025 passed by the learned Principal Magistrate, Juvenile Justice Board, Jamshedpur in connection with Azad Nagar P.S. Case No. 24 of 2025, rejecting the prayer for bail of the petitioner has been affirmed.

Submission has been advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the allegations are general and omnibus in nature. It has further been submitted that as per the CCTV footage it was one Md. Tausif @ Ghochu who was responsible for assaulting the son of the informant with a chopper.

Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner and while referring to para 136 of the case diary has submitted that it was on the disclosure made by the petitioner the chopper was recovered from the dam.

The allegations reveal that the son of the informant was assaulted by several accused persons which resulted in his death. The CCTV footage clearly indicates about the presence of the petitioner at the place of occurrence when the son of the informant was being assaulted and para 136 of the case diary records that on the confessional statement of the petitioner the chopper which was used in commission of the murder had been recovered.

Regard being had to the above, I am not inclined to interfere in the impugned orders and consequently this revision application stands dismissed at this stage.
