RANCHI, India, Dec. 24 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on Nov. 24:

1. Heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and learned counsel appearing for the State.

2. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Domchanch P.S. Case No. 71 of 2025, registered for the offence under Sections 303(2), 317(2), 3(5) of the BNS, pending in the Court of the learned Court CJM, Koderma.

3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner happened to be the owner of the Hydra vehicle bearing registration No. JH-11AQ-6366. He submits that one Aman Singh contacted with the driver of the said Hydra for loading of the pipes and he has also stated that a contract project has been awarded to him. He further submits that petitioner has got no criminal antecedent, as disclosed in para-22 of the petition.

4. Learned counsel appearing for the State opposed the prayer and submits that the said Hydra was used in loading of pipe of Jal Jeevan Mission.

5. Considering that the petitioner happened to be the owner of the said Hydra. One Aman Singh has hired the said Hydra and petitioner has got no criminal antecedent, I am inclined to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the above-named petitioner is directed to surrender before the learned Court within three weeks from today and in the event of his arrest or surrender, he will be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court of CJM, Koderma in connection with Domchanch P.S. Case No.71 of 2025, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.
