RANCHI, India, Sept. 23 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on Aug. 22:
1. The present writ petition has been filed for the following relief :- "for issuance of a writ in the nature of writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent to provide certified copy of detail of land/ plot as per registered II of Plot No.1509 & 1505, Mouza Khunti, Thana No.83, Khatiyan No.03/70 in who name it was recorded in the year 1971 to 1973."
2. In view of the nature of relief prayed for, the present writ petition is, hereby, disposed of directing the respondents authorities to provide the certified copy to the petitioner, as demanded, on payment of appropriate fee, as prescribed, within four weeks from the date of receipt/ production of copy of this order.
3. It is made clear that if the certified copy is not provided within four weeks, the petitioner is entitled for Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) as harassment and as a litigation cost, to be paid by the Deputy Commissioner, Khunti, who will recover the said amount from the erring officials.
4. With above direction, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
5. Pending interlocutory application, if any, stands disposed of.
