RANCHI, India, Dec. 14 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on Nov. 14:
1. Defect(s), as pointed out by the registry, is hereby ignored.
2. This is a matter of 2009. From record, it appears that the case was dismissed for default and the same was restored pursuant to order passed in CMP No. 437 of 2017.
3. Even today, none appears for the petitioner.
4. Learned counsel for the respondents submits that the only prayer of the petitioner is to dispose of the representation filed on 28.02.2009 (Annexure-9); accordingly, learned counsel submits that instead of adjourning the matter, this case may be disposed of because the representation was of 28.02.2009 and till date it must have been disposed of.
5. Having regard to the aforesaid submission of the State counsel and looking to the prayer made in the writ application, especially, the prayer for quick disposal of representation dated 28.02.2009 (Annexure-9); interest of justice would be sufficed by directing the concerned respondents that if till date, the representation has not been disposed of, then the same shall be disposed of in accordance with law and applicable rules and regulations.
6. With the aforesaid observation, the instant writ application stands disposed of. Pending I.A., if any, also stands closed.
