MADHYA PRADESH HIGH COURT ISSUES JUDGEMENT FOR COMMISSIONER AND OTHERS V/S RAKESH SHUKLA

JABALPUR, India, March 25 -- Madhya Pradesh High Court issued the following judgment/order on Feb. 23:

1. The appellants are aggrieved by a direction issued by the contempt Court by order dated 16.02.2026 whereby, as a last indulgence, time has been granted to the appellants to have their review petition listed before the concerned Court. We note that in the review petition, an order was passed on 06.02.2026 directing the review petition to be listed on 13.02.2026. However, the review petition has not been listed on 13.02.2026.

2. Accordingly, we direct that Review Petition No.2473/2025 be listed before the concerned Bench on 27.02.2026. The concerned Court dealing with the subject contempt petition is requested to defer the hearing to a date after the date fixed in the review petition.

3. With the aforesaid direction, the appeal is disposed of. It is clarified that this Court has neither considered nor commented on the merits of the contentions of either party. All rights and contentions of the parties are reserved.
