MADHYA PRADESH HIGH COURT ISSUES JUDGEMENT ON M/S RAJA TRANSPORT COMPANY V/S FOOD CORPORATION OF INDIA AND OTHERS

JABALPUR, India, Nov. 2 -- Madhya Pradesh High Court issued the following judgment/order on Oct. 6:

1. Petitioner seeks a direction to respondents no.3 and 5 to decide the grievance raised by petitioner in accordance with rules, as directed by the Executive Director, Food Corporation of India, by its order dated 19.01.2024.

2. Learned counsel appearing for respondent no.5 submits that there are some technical objections to the maintainability of the claim of petitioner, however, without prejudice to the same and in deference to the order issued on 19.01.2024 by the Executive Director, Food Corporation of India, grievance of the petitioner shall be considered in accordance with law and disposed of within a period of 30 days from today.

3 . In view of above, this writ petition is disposed of directing respondents no.3 and 5 to comply with order dated 19.01.2024 of the Executive Director, Food Corporation of India, within a maximum period of 30 days from today.
