JABALPUR, India, Dec. 14 -- Madhya Pradesh High Court issued the following judgmenton Nov. 13:
After some arguments, learned counsel for the appellant prays for leave to withdraw the appeal without prejudice to the defence raised by the appellant in the inquiry proceedings. He however prays that the respondents be directed to pay the suspension allowance as per rules and also conclude the inquiry in a time bound manner.
In view of the above, the appeal is dismissed as withdrawn.
The respondents are directed to pay the suspension allowance to the appellant in accordance with rules within a period of two weeks from today and the respondents shall also conclude the inquiry as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of three months from today.
In the meantime, it would be open to the appellant to seek revocation of the suspension in accordance with rules.
