JABALPUR, India, Dec. 26 -- Madhya Pradesh High Court issued the following judgment/order on Nov. 26:

By this application, appellant seeks modification of order dated 19.09.2024.
Learned counsel for appellant submits that by order dated 19.09.2024, the Disciplinary Authority was directed to take a fresh decision on the quantum of punishment in accordance with law. He submits that over one year has passed, however, no decision has been taken on the ground that no time frame was fixed by this Court.
Issue notice.
Notice is accepted by learned counsel appearing for respondents/State, who is unable to state as to whether a fresh decision has been taken by the Competent Authority or not.
In view of the above, we direct the Competent Authority to comply with order dated 19.09.2024 within a maximum period of 4 weeks, if not already decided. In case the decision has been taken, the same shall be communicated to the appellant forthwith.
Application is disposed of in the above terms.
