MADHYA PRADESH HIGH COURT ISSUES ORDER ON ASHISH KUMAR BHARKE V/S THE STATE OF MADHYA PRADESH AND OTHERS

JABALPUR, India, Feb. 9 -- Madhya Pradesh High Court issued the following Jan. 9:

1. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of appellant seeks leave to withdraw the appeal however prays that some time may be granted to appellant to join at the place of posting.

2. In view of the above, appeal is dismissed as withdrawn. Appellant shall join the place of posting on or before 16.01.2026.

3. Learned counsel for appellant however, reserves the right for seeking a posting for his wife also in terms of the transfer policy wherein husband and wife can be posted at the same place.

4. In case such a representation is given, it will be open to the respondents to consider the same in accordance with rules.
