JABALPUR, India, Sept. 28 -- Madhya Pradesh High Court issued the following judgment/order on Aug. 28:
Pursuant to the consent given by the parties that the disputes be referred to a sole arbitrator by order dated 30.07.2025. It was proposed that Mr. Justice Virender Singh, Former Judge of this Court be appointed as the sole arbitrator to adjudicate the claims and counter claims, if any arising out of the subject RFP Tender Document.
The consent of Mr. Justice Virender Singh has been received.
Accordingly with the consent of parties, we appoint Mr. Justice Virender Singh, Former Judge of this Court to be the sole arbitrator to adjudicate the claims and counter claims, if any arising out of the subject RFP Tender Document.
The Petition, is accordingly, disposed of in the above terms.
Registry is directed to communicate the order of appointment to Mr. Justice Virender Singh. It would be open to the parties to approach the Arbitral Tribunal for appropriate relief, if any.
Counsel for the petitioner prays that though seat of the arbitration is at Bhopal, venue of the Arbitration may be at Jabalpur. It is open to the petitioner to make such a request to the Arbitrator and for the Arbitrator to consider the same in consultation with the parties.
