MANIPUR HIGH COURT ISSUES ORDER FOR LAIKHURAM NINGOL KHANGEMBAM ONGBI KAMALA DEVI V/S UNION OF INDIA AND 6 ORS.

IMPHAL, India, April 26 -- Manipur High Court issued the following order on March 26:

[1] In the hearing today, Ms. Deepika, learned counsel representing learned counsel on record for writ petitioner and W. Niranjit, learned State counsel for respondent Nos. 2 to 7 are before us in the physical Court. To be noted, there is no representation for respondent No.1.

[2] Be that as it may, adverting to earlier proceedings made in the previous listing on 03.10.2025, more particularly paragraph 6 thereat, Mr. W. Niranjit, learned State counsel requests for further time to bring on record a comprehensive report from the Additional Superintendent of Police (i/c), Kangpokpi.

[3] Afore-referred request is acceded to.
