MANIPUR HIGH COURT ISSUES ORDER FOR THOKCHOM SUJATA DEVI V/S UNION OF INDIA AND 5 OTHERS

IMPHAL, India, Feb. 26 -- Manipur High Court issued the following order on Jan. 27:

[1] Captioned matter mentioned at half past ten.

[2] Mr. Ajoy Pebam, learned counsel for petitioner in PIL No. 22 of 2024 requests for time citing difficulty for the arguing counsel Mr. Maninder Singh who is leading him.

[3] Ms. Thanyomi Keishing, learned State Counsel for State; Mr. Dayali Elangbam, learned counsel for respondent No. 8; Mr. M. Chittaranjan, learned counsel along with Mr. Dhruv Dewan and Mr. Rajesh Ranjan, learned counsel on record for respondent Nos. 7 & 9 and Mr. Boboy Potsangbam, earned Central Government Standing Counsel (CGSC) for Union of India do not oppose the request.
