IMPHAL, India, May 25 -- Manipur High Court issued the following order on April 24:
[1] Mr. S. Gunabanta, learned counsel for the petitioner in WP(C) No. 110 of 2026, submits that the matter may be taken up on Monday due to personal inconvenience of the arguing counsel.
[2] Mr. N. Ibotombi, learned senior counsel for the applicants in MC(WP(C) No. 237 of 2026, submits that their seniority positions are not disputed by the parties in the case. However, due to interim order passed by this Court, the result of the DPC could not be declared. In the circumstances, it is submitted that the matter may be expedited as the applicants are suffering a lot for no fault on their part.
[3] Mr. H. Debendra, learned Dy. A.G. assisted by Ms. I. Sharmila, learned Jr. G.A. for the State respondent, submits that if the seniority position of some of the incumbents are not disputed, this Court may permit State respondent to declare the result of the DPC for such employees.
[4] Also present Mr. Prabirkumar, learned counsel for the petitioner in WP(C) No. 854 of 2024, Mr. M. Rendy, learned counsel and Ms. Kh. Maria, learned counsel for some of the private respondents.
[5] List this case on 27.04.2026.
