SHILLONG, India, March 21 -- Meghalaya High Court issued the following judgment/order on Feb. 19:
1. Though this matter has been listed for referral to mediation proceedings, Mr. S.Deb, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the limited prayer in the instant petition is only for consideration of the representation dated 13-08-2024.
2. Mrs. T.Yangi B, learned AAG assisted by Ms. S.Kh. Nongrum, learned GA for the respondents does not dispute this submission.
3. It is noted that, as submitted, the only prayer is for disposal of the representation dated 13-08-2024. In this view of the matter, this petition is disposed of with a direction that the concerned respondents shall take up the representation dated 13-08-2024 for consideration and to dispose of the same preferably within a period of three months from the date of this order.
4. Matter stands disposed of.
