The Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs has launched an upgraded version of the National Youth Parliament Scheme (NYPS) web portal, known as NYPS 2.0 on 11th September 2024. Unlike the previous version, which was limited to students of recognized institutions only, NYPS 2.0 is open to all the educational institutions, groups and citizens across the country. Since its launch the details of institutional, group and individual registrations recorded and sittings conducted under each mode on the portal are as follows:

The details of 42 on boarded Consultative Committees for various Ministries are available on the Consultative Committee Management System (CCMS) portal of the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs i.e. https://oams.nic.in/ccms/index.aspx, which is an accessible document.

To strengthen the outreach of the NYPS web portal, the Ministry has written to all State Governments, Union Territory Administrations; Legislatures of States/UTs; various educational boards (CBSE, CISCE), and also a publicity video tutorial is broadcast from time to time on Sansad TV. The CCMS portal has been continuously upgraded digitally from time to time as per requirement of stakeholders.

This information was given by the Minister of State of Parliamentary Affairs, Dr. L. Murugan in a written reply in the Rajya Sabha today.
