MY Bharat functions as a youth engagement and participation platform, offering multiple modules such as creation of youth profiles, participation in volunteering and experiential learning activities, mentorship from experts, networking with other youth, and features like quizzes, essay writing and CV building, while also providing digital space to Ministries, organizations, industries and youth clubs to host engagement programmes, with registration being mandatory for participation; although the platform is not a dedicated skill development or employment portal, the opportunities hosted enable youth to build soft skills, understand the functioning of government, and access information on scholarships and higher education, and the reporting framework primarily captures data on registrations, activities, partner onboarding and participation levels, with programmes hosted by onboarded organizations intended to enhance outreach to registered youth and not implying any direct attribution or outcome responsibility of the MY Bharat portal itself.
