PATNA, India, April 2 -- Patna High Court issued the following judgment on March 25:

The learned Advocate for the appellants/ applicants presses I.A. No. 1 of 2025 for condoning the delay of 267 days in preferring this appeal.

2. For the reasons stated in the application, the delay of 267 days in preferring this appeal is condoned.

3. I.A. No. 1 of 2025 stands allowed.

Re: LPA No. 185 of 2025 4. Heard Mr. Ashok Kumar Choudhary, the learned Senior Counsel for the appellants and Mr. Arun Kumar, the learned counsel for the respondent 2nd set.

5. By the impugned judgment dated 02.05.2024 passed by a learned Single Judge of this Court in CWJC No. 6748 of 2024, the writ petitioners have been permitted to file a representation before the District Programme Officer (East), Nawada within three weeks and he, in turn, has been directed to consider the case of the writ petitioners after affording opportunity of personal hearing or through their counsel and to pass a reasoned speaking order in accordance with law within a stipulated period of time.
