PATNA HIGH COURT ISSUES ORDER ON BISHU CHAUBEY V/S THE STATE OF BIHAR

PATNA, India, May 29 -- Patna High Court issued the following order on May 1:

Heard Ms. Usha Kumari 1, learned counsel for the appellant, Mr. Bipin Kumar, learned A.P.P. for the respondentState and Mr. Shyam Bihari Singh, learned counsel for the informant.

2. This appeal is admitted for hearing.

3. At this stage, learned counsel appearing for the parties jointly submitted that the co-convict has filed Criminal Appeal (DB) No. 276 of 2025 in which this Court has already called for Trial Court record and, in the said matter, the State has already filed written objection. Learned counsels urged that both these appeals be heard together.

4. In view of the aforesaid submission, the matter is adjourned.

5. Re-notify this matter on 30.06.2025 with Criminal Appeal (DB) No. 276 of 2025.

6. Prayer for bail, in the present matter, will be considered after filing of the written objection by the Respondent-State. The Respondent-State shall file the written objection before the next date of hearing.
