PATNA, India, May 29 -- Patna High Court issued the following order on May 1:

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr. Umeshanand Pandit, learned A.P.P. for the State.

2. The petitioners apprehend their arrest in a case registered for the offence under Sections 109(1), 115(2), 118(2), 131(3), 126(2), 351(3), 352, 303(2) and 3(5) of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita.

3. As per the prosecution case, on 02.10.2024 at about 2 PM, on the dispute of grazing the field of informant by shegoat of co-accused Md. Shahid Mian, Maarpeet took place between the parties, in which, informant, his wife and his brother sustained injury. Petitioner no. 1 is alleged to have snatched gold ear-ring of informant's wife.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that as per F.I.R., there is general and omnibus allegation against petitioners and no specific overt act has been alleged against petitioners. Case and counter case. Petitioners claim clean antecedent.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the bail petition.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the above named petitioners, in the event of their arrest/surrender within a period of eight weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., Jamui in connection with Malaypur P.S. Case No. 104 of 2024, subject to condition as laid down under Section 482 of the Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.
