AGARTALA, India, March 11 -- Tripura High Court issued the following order/judgement on Feb. 10:

Mr. Arijit Bhaumik, learned counsel is present on behalf of the petitioner and Mr. D Sarma, learned Addl. GA is present on behalf of the State-respondents.

The petitioner filed the writ petition for declaring that the B.Ed. degree obtained by the petitioner is a valid one which is pending for decision. In the meantime, the state respondents have also filed their counter affidavit.

During the pendency of this petition, the present petitioner has filed this IA to take a final decision regarding awarding of TET certificate in favour of the petitioner.

At the time of hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner drawn the attention of the Court that the TRBT has declared the list of qualified candidates for T-TET 24 paper II candidates wherein the name of the petitioner has been shown in the waiting list (Annexure-1 of the IA) and by another memorandum dated 13.12.2025 the TRBT has circulated that the certificates would be distributed but in the Note it was mentioned that two candidates in T-TET Paper-II are enlisted in the waiting list and subject to further verification. In this situation, this IA is filed.

Learned Addl. GA Mr. D Sarma, appearing on behalf of the State respondents submitted that since the main petition is pending for decision, so, this present IA is infructuous and is a prematured one. So he urged before this court for final disposal of the case since the counter affidavit has also been filed.

So, after hearing both the sides it appears to the Court that till disposal of the present writ petition there is no scope to grant any immediate relief to the petitioner in the IA.

Learned counsel Mr. A Bhaumik, at this stage submitted that he will not press the IA and urged before the court to dispose of the same, with a further request to hear the matter finally at an early date.

In view of the said submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner this present IA stands disposed of being not pressed by the petitioner.

Liberty is granted to the petitioner to file rejoinder, if any, in WP(C) No. 608 of 2025 supplying copy to the other side.

WP(C) No. 608 of 2025 is fixed for 03.03.2026. Let the matter be listed on that day for final hearing.
