New Delhi - During his visit to Maharashtra, Union Agriculture, Farmers Welfare and Rural Development Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan visited the Krishi Vikas Kendra in Baleshwar, Ahilyanagar, and interacted with farmers. Speaking with farmers on farm-related issues on the last day of the year, Shivraj Singh Chouhan said the central government is committed to farmer welfare. The Union Minister also distributed benefits to beneficiaries.

Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that agriculture is the backbone of the Indian economy, and farmers are its lifeblood. The government is continuously taking concrete steps to increase farmers' income, make farming a profitable business, and promote the overall development of villages. Chouhan also reviewed the progress of various schemes and directed officials to ensure effective implementation at the ground level.
