Union Agriculture Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan today participated in several programs organized under the Seva Pakhwada in the Budhni Assembly constituency of Vidisha. He initially addressed the gathering, participating in a tree-planting ceremony, a " Healthy Women , Strong Family " program, and a blood donation camp. He also met with traders at an intellectual dialogue program and discussed the new GST reforms in detail. He also participated in a cleanliness drive, administering a cleanliness pledge, and visited the Street Vendors' Chaupal to interact with vendors and listen to their problems. He also placed stickers in support of Swadeshi on shops and homes in the Budhni Assembly constituency, urging citizens to adopt Swadeshi. Union Agriculture Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan also performed the groundbreaking ceremony and laid the foundation stone for various development projects worth approximately Rs. 110 crore in the Budhni Assembly constituency , remarking that Budhni is steadily progressing on the path of development.

Union Agriculture Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan stated that Swadeshi means goods manufactured in India , utilizing the hard work and sweat of our citizens. He added that indigenous products create employment and strengthen the country's economy. The Union Agriculture Minister emphasized that India 's growing population and vast market are the country's strengths. The United States has a population of 300 million , Europe's 500 million , while India, with its 1.44 billion population, is soon to cross the 1.5 billion mark. Any agreement will be reached only while protecting the interests of our people. Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan stated that the country is not concerned about tariffs being imposed on Indian goods. He clarified that there is no market larger than 1.44 billion consumers. If we start buying only products manufactured in our country , the world cannot stop our progress. He added that under Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's Swadeshi mantra, India is rapidly becoming self-reliant. Previously, mobile phones were imported ; now India is exporting them. Semiconductor chip manufacturing has also begun in the country. The Union Minister said that Indian youth possess extraordinary talent and are capable of producing anything that has previously been imported. Even those things that are not being manufactured today will be manufactured in India.

Speaking on the Next Generation GST Reform , Union Agriculture Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan stated that the direct benefits of reduced GST rates should reach the public. He stated that everyday items like food , clothing , utensils, and agricultural equipment have become cheaper. Shri Chouhan stated that the reduction in GST on a 35- horsepower tractor will directly benefit farmers by approximately Rs. 41,000 . He stated that this benefit must reach both farmers and the general public. He emphasized the need to transfer the full benefit of reduced GST rates to consumers. Following the GST Council's decision, the GST rate on agricultural equipment has been reduced from 18 % to 5 %. This has directly impacted the prices of these equipment, making many machines cheaper by thousands of rupees. Whether small or large , purchasing tractors , threshers , planting machines , mulchers, and sprayers will now be easier. Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan stated that the central government's goal is to reduce farmers' costs and provide them with access to modern equipment. The reduction in GST rates will enable farmers, both large and small, to purchase affordable machinery. This decision is a historic step towards realizing Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's resolve of self-reliant farmers , self-reliant India.

Union Agriculture Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, while addressing the "Healthy Women , Strong Family" program in the Budhni Vidhansabha, said that the first happiness in life is a healthy body. He said , " If someone falls ill, then everything else is forgotten. The body fulfills all the religious duties , so it is important to be healthy." He said that this campaign, which began on Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's birthday, is ongoing, and under this, health checkups of mothers and sisters in the Budhni area are being conducted. He said that many times, women do not disclose their problems and continue working , due to which diseases become serious. The Union Minister said that TB was previously considered a dangerous disease , but now it is treatable. He said that the entire area will be made TB-free and appropriate arrangements will be made for this. Today, we are distributing nutrition baskets to the women. With early diagnosis and timely treatment, any disease can be controlled. Doctors from every department are present at the camp, and 30 doctors have been deployed at the Budhni Civil Hospital so that women do not have to go outside for checkups. Mr. Chauhan assured that the camp will continue until the health check-up of all the sisters is done .

Union Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced that the Sansad Khel Mahotsav is about to begin. Sports are not limited to children ; sisters and daughters will also participate. He said , "Sports are a part of life, and sports alleviate many of our sorrows. Therefore , I want all brothers and sisters to participate and enjoy the games." Outlining the detailed sports program, he said that during the Sansad Khel Mahotsav , games like tug-of-war , chair race , lemon race, kabaddi, and cricket will be organized in every village. Certificates and prizes will also be provided for participating sisters and daughters. Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan also shared information about team registration and urged people to register teams from their villages or neighborhoods to participate. He expressed his hope that our children should progress , and our brothers , sisters, and daughters should also participate in sports. This competition is being organized to bring joy to life .

Union Agriculture Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan stated that Budhni is continuously progressing on the path of development. He said that groundbreaking ceremonies and foundation stone laying ceremonies are being performed for various development projects costing Rs. 110 crore in the area . A 750- bed medical college is under construction in Budhni , while a 50- bed civil hospital has been completed , where a medical camp is currently operating. He said that institutions like the CM Rise School , ITI, and college have become a reality , whereas once they were only a dream. The establishment of factories has increased the purchasing power of local residents , boosting the businesses of traders. He said that the area is benefiting from national highway and rail connectivity. The construction of the national highway has increased the value of land here, and the improved roads are directly benefiting the people. He added that a sports complex is being built in Budhni at a cost of Rs.23.6 crore , which will provide children with opportunities to play and promote sports. Additionally , a convention center worth Rs.109.9 million is under construction. Cultural, educational, and social programs will be held there . A rental housing project will be developed at a cost of Rs. 356.1 million , which will reduce the difficulties in renting a home and provide housing access to local residents.
