On the instructions of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi , Union Minister of Agriculture , Farmers Welfare and Rural Development , Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, will embark on a two- day visit to the Northeast . Shri Chouhan will depart from Delhi on June 30th , hold a high-level meeting in Guwahati, the capital of Assam, on the same day , and then visit the flood-affected areas of Arunachal Pradesh on July 1st to directly assess the situation on the ground .
