India, Aug. 25 -- The Government of India has issued a release:
Union Minister of Agriculture , Farmers Welfare , and Rural Development , Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, launched the " Mission Prosperous Village " scheme in New Delhi today . Through " Mission Prosperous Village, " the plan is to develop a holistic and integrated model for creating poverty - free , employment-rich , and basic amenities - rich villages . This mission will lay the strong foundation for a developed India, with prosperous , self - reliant , and poverty - free villages .
In his address on this occasion , he said that the objective of this mission is to develop such model villages , where every family has employment or livelihood opportunities , basic facilities are available and people do not have to migrate under compulsion .
Pilot model in selected areas
Mr. Chouhan stated that under " Mission Samriddhi Gaon , " pilot models will be developed in Budhni block of Sehore district and Khategaon block of Dewas district in Madhya Pradesh , where poverty alleviation , employment generation , and holistic village development will be realized through the convergence of various government schemes . Successful models will be replicated in other areas . Mr. Chouhan stated that an integrated development framework will be developed in the selected blocks under Mission Samriddhi Gaon , from the household to the Gram Panchayat and block levels . Each family will be linked to various central and state government schemes based on their needs and eligibility . He added that , along with the convergence of agriculture and rural development schemes , health , education , employment , livelihoods , and other basic amenities will also be included in the mission .
श्री चौहान ने कहा कि यह पहल केवल एक परियोजना नहीं, बल्कि ग्रामीण विकास के लिए एक प्रयोगात्मक मॉडल है जिसे सफल होने पर बड़े स्तर पर दोहराया जा सकेगा। उन्होंने विश्वास व्यक्त किया कि सामूहिक प्रयासों से मिशन समृद्ध गाँव का संकल्प निश्चित रूप से पूरा होगा और देश के सामने ग्रामीण विकास का एक प्रभावी मॉडल प्रस्तुत किया जा सकेगा। श्री चौहान ने कहा, "लोगों की जिंदगी बदलना मेरी जिंदगी का मकसद है।" यदि सरकार की योजनाओं को सही ढंग से लागू कर अंतिम व्यक्ति तक पहुँचाया जाए, तो गरीबी को काफी हद तक समाप्त किया जा सकता है। उन्होंने कहा कि इसके लिए विभागों, प्रशासन, पंचायती राज संस्थाओं और विभिन्न साझेदार संस्थाओं को मिलकर एक टीम के रूप में काम करना होगा।
संस्थागत साझेदारी और समन्वय
मिशन के क्रियान्वयन में ट्रांसफ्राम रुरल इंडिया फाउंडेशन, गेट्स फाउंडेशन, एक्सिस बैंक फाउंडेशन, एचएसबीसी, सिटीबैंक तथा अन्य साझेदार संस्थाओं के सहयोग और सुझावों का स्वागत करते हुए श्री चौहान ने कहा कि सरकार, पंचायती राज संस्थाओं, नागरिक समाज संगठनों और निजी क्षेत्र के बीच प्रभावी समन्वय से ग्रामीण विकास को नई गति दी जा सकती है।
महिला किसानों और ग्रामीण महिलाओं की भागीदारी
मिशन के तहत महिला किसानों की पहचान, उन्हें कृषि संबंधी सलाह और आवश्यक जानकारी उपलब्ध कराने तथा ग्रामीण महिलाओं को आजीविका के अवसरों से जोड़ने पर भी विशेष ध्यान दिया जाएगा।
श्री चौहान ने 'लखपति दीदी' अभियान का उदाहरण देते हुए कहा कि जब ग्रामीण महिलाओं ने अपने जैसी महिलाओं को आर्थिक रूप से सशक्त होते देखा, तो उनमें भी आगे बढ़ने का विश्वास और उत्साह पैदा हुआ। उन्होंने कहा कि ऐसे सफल मॉडलों को सामने लाकर अन्य गाँवों में भी दोहराया जाएगा।
समेकित कृषि और विविध आजीविका पर जोर
केन्द्रीय मंत्री ने कहा कि छोटे और सीमित कृषि जोत वाले किसानों की आय बढ़ाने के लिए एकीकृत कृषि प्रणाली को बढ़ावा देना जरूरी है। किसानों को केवल अनाज उत्पादन तक सीमित न रखते हुए फल एवं सब्जी उत्पादन, मछली पालन, बकरी पालन, पशुपालन, मुर्गी पालन, मधुमक्खी पालन जैसी विविध गतिविधियों से जोड़ना होगा।
He said that warehousing , food processing , and production- based activities will also be promoted to strengthen the rural economy . Enabling farmers to produce value - added products and market them instead of simply selling raw produce will increase both their income and local employment .
