India, May 25 -- CENTRAL RAILWAY has issued a tender notice titled "Snatch Block for 2 Ton Capacity Eot" with the tender reference no.: 85266031.
The tender details are as follows: Snatch block for 2 Ton capacity EOT Crane having 4 falls, pulley dia 300 +/- 50mm (mounted on bearing), pulley cover closing 3/4 and the material of trapezoidal section medium shank hook will be for ged steel as per IS 3815 or IS 15560. The hook must be supported on thrust bearing. The material of hook as per IS 1875 CL 2, proof load 4 Ton. The wire rope used for this assembly will be of 9mm dia. The pulley must have safety latch and opening of hook should be minimum 65 mm, with load testing certificate and w arranty certificate. [ Warranty Period: 30 Months after the date of delivery ] ]
